Recent & Current Work
I have been commissioned by the West End Community Development Consortium
in Newcastle to work with a number of organisations including community groups
and social enterprises to improve organisational capacity.
Tasks within these settings include achieving charitable status, business
planning, marketing, negotiation, facilitating workshops and feasibility studies.
I was recently employed as a Marketing Consultant for the West End Health Resource Centre, a nationally recognised Healthy Living Centre with over 40 staff to carry out a business review and work with trustees and key stakeholders to develop a new marketing strategy.
Prior to this, I was employed for 4 years as a Network Development Worker
for Healthworks West where I developed and ran an area based network of community
and voluntary sector organisations.
For four years I provided support and advice to community groups around capacity
building including fundraising and organisational development.
